It is with deep mourning I blog today. Mr. Joe Rosenthal, the photographer that captured the famous photograph of U.S. Marines raising the second flag on Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima has died.
With tears in my eyes and a heavy heart I wish him the sweetest of sleeps. Being a Marine isn’t usually beautiful, but on that day, on that bloody mountain he made Marines Beautiful. Thank you Sir for seeing what rare few get to. OORAH SIR!
