I’ve been pretty lackluster sick lately. Stoopid lupus. But I laid down this evening (which i rarely do) and awoke with a slightly freshened brain, so maybe I shall get some smidgen of work done tonight – w00t!

Now for my six things:
1. When i was 13 I was gang raped. They broke every major bone in my body but that is not the quirky part. The quirk is that i never forgot the face of the young man holding me down as his friends had their way with me. He was horrified, mortified and terrorized at what HE and they were doing – and yet he could not stop. I never forgot what happens if you fail to be your own person and fall to peer pressure. That poor man that day – how rotted to the core his soul became because he couldn’t stand up for his own beliefs – beliefs that rape is wrong. I vowed that day – for him never to fall to anyone’s pressure – peer or no peer and I don’t think I ever have – w00t!!! I hope he is okay and i hope he knows I thank him for one of the most valuable life lessons. I’m glad it happened when it did – right when I needed it, even if it was attached to something brutal.
2. I can never write if my nails are not done.
3. I still stand at attention when I hear the National Anthem – NO MATTER where I am or if it is just coming off a TV before a sports game.
4.I hope the day I die, nobody really notices me missing 
5.I LOVE LOVE LOVE fried bologna sandwiches – w00t!!!
6. I often make up my own parody of other songs. ALOT – Daily – Just because I can!

I’ve got it done. I’m less quirky than I thought. Either that or my mind has gone blank.
Glad to see you posting here regularly, which is the only way I can keep up! I still stand at attention too–it’s just ingrained so deeply. I also always maintain my gig line. Some habits never die.
